Rodney Cole at Gregg Young Automotive in Ottumwa was absolutely wonderful to work with during my recent car purchase! I have been looking for a vehicle for almost three years, and Rodney was literally the first sales agent who truly listened to what I was looking for and was able to find me a vehicle I actually loved — and he did it on the very first try! Rodney was extremely intuitive, knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. He answered every question I had and did an amazing job helping me navigate the entire process. What impressed me most was how patient and understanding he was when I started having second thoughts and got a little overwhelmed right before signing. Instead of making me feel pressured, he simply gave me the time I needed to call my husband and talk everything through. Rodney and the other salesperson stepped away and gave me the space to have that conversation. When they came back, they simply asked if I was ready to move forward or if we needed to change direction. There was absolutely no pressure — just understanding and respect. I also want to give a shout-out to Steve Wilson, the sales manager. I had to speak with Steve on a couple of occasions when Rodney was out, and Steve was very helpful and made sure I was taken care of. I really appreciated his willingness to help and his professionalism. And I can't leave out Spencer in financing! He was such a helpful, down-to-earth guy and made that part of the process much more comfortable. I really appreciated how approachable and easygoing he was. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with everyone I worked with at Gregg Young Automotive. Rodney especially went above and beyond to listen to me, understand what I was looking for, and help me find the right vehicle.
